Evergreen Estates South Calgary MLS® Listings
Houses, Condos and Real Estate For Sale by Calgary REALTORS®.
Evergreen Estates is the older, northern section of the broader Evergreen development in south Calgary, separated from Evergreen proper by Fish Creek Boulevard. Established in 1986, it predates the rest of Evergreen by more than a decade and is served by its own group, the Shawnee-Evergreen Community Association, formed in 1994 when Evergreen Estates joined with neighbouring Shawnee Slopes. Streets here carry the "Evergreen" name directly, such as Evergreen Way and Evergreen Hill, distinguishing them from the "Ever-" prefixed streets, like Everstone and Evercreek, found in the newer section to the south. Homes are predominantly single-family detached, generally on more mature, established lots than the newer phases of Evergreen. The community sits close to Fish Creek Provincial Park along its northern edge, giving residents nearby trail and green space access. Because it shares the Evergreen name and sits directly beside it, many buyers use the two names interchangeably, though local community associations and the City of Calgary treat them as distinct, separately established communities.
