Parkland South Calgary MLS® Listings

Houses, Condos and Real Estate For Sale by Calgary REALTORS®.

Parkland is a South Calgary community first developed in 1974 on land annexed to the city in 1961. It is bounded by Canyon Meadows Drive to the north, Bow Bottom Trail to the east, and Fish Creek Provincial Park along its southern and western edges. The community takes its name from that setting, with several streets backing directly onto the park's meadows and mature tree cover. Housing in Parkland is almost entirely single-family, with very little rental or condominium stock, giving the community a settled, low-turnover feel. A public access strip along the park boundary connects residents to Fish Creek's pathway system, and the Parkland Community Association partners with Friends of Fish Creek Park on river cleanups and other conservation events. Prince of Wales Elementary and St. Philip Elementary serve local families. Parkland's near-total single-family composition distinguishes it from Queensland, its neighbour just across Bow Bottom Trail, which has a more mixed housing stock.
