Greenview is a small residential community in northwest Calgary, created in 1991 when the former Thorncliffe/Greenview district was divided into three separate communities: Thorncliffe, North Haven, and Greenview. The community is bounded by 64 Avenue N to the north, Deerfoot Trail to the east, McKnight Boulevard and Edmonton Trail to the south, and 14 Street W to the west, giving residents quick access to Deerfoot Trail for commuting across the city. Greenview is primarily made up of rental apartments and condominiums, making it one of the more affordable entry points into Calgary's northwest quadrant. It should not be confused with the nearby Greenview Industrial Park, a separate business and industrial area that sits close by but is a distinct area. With its central northwest location and easy highway access, Greenview appeals to buyers and investors looking for value and convenience over large lot sizes or character homes.
