Connaught City Centre Calgary MLS® Listings
Houses, Condos and Real Estate For Sale by Calgary REALTORS®.
Connaught is the western half of Calgary's Beltline, the inner-city district immediately south of downtown across the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks. Established in 1905, it was the first area of the Beltline to be developed and today is defined by dense high-rise condominium towers built along 4th Street SW and the surrounding blocks, part of decades of Beltline redevelopment. Nearly all housing in Connaught is apartments or condos, with a large rental population alongside owner-occupied towers. The community borders Victoria Park to the east and sits within walking distance of 17th Avenue's restaurants and shops, the Bow River pathway, and the downtown core, making it one of Calgary's most walkable, transit-connected neighbourhoods. Its mix of established mid-rise buildings and newer high-rise towers appeals to buyers who want urban density and a short commute into downtown offices.
