Cityscape is one of northeast Calgary's newest communities, developed by Mattamy Homes along Metis Trail and Country Hills Boulevard starting around 2013. The neighbourhood is built around a large environmental reserve with walking trails and ponds, and the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway, a pathway that circles the city, runs right through it. Families are drawn here for the newer housing stock of detached homes and townhomes, everyday shopping at Cityscape Square, and easy access to Sunridge Mall and CrossIron Mills. A new Calgary Board of Education school for grades 6 to 9 is currently in the design stage for the community, adding to the family appeal. With a young, fast-growing and richly diverse population, Cityscape suits buyers who want modern construction and green space without leaving the city.
