City of Calgary changes to playground and school zone hours in effect

Starting September 1, 2014 Calgary Police will begin enforcement of new changes to the City's 1150 playground and 180 school zones.
While in effect, speed limits will be reduced to 30km/h. Playground zone times are now 7:30am to 9pm, every day, all year. School zones will be in effect from 7:30am to 9pm, during school days only.Â
