Rosscarrock West Calgary MLS® Listings
Houses, Condos and Real Estate For Sale by Calgary REALTORS®.
Rosscarrock is a southwest Calgary community established in 1954 during the city's post-war expansion, taking its name from the rocky hill topography that shaped the original street layout. The community sits between Bow Trail to the north and 17th Avenue SW to the south, with Sarcee Trail and Crowchild Trail providing quick routes downtown, about a 10 to 15 minute drive. Housing is a mix of original 1950s bungalows, newer infills, and low-maintenance multifamily units, and more than half the residential buildings are condominiums or apartments. The Westbrook LRT station, opened in 2012, sits at the community's edge and anchors Westbrook Mall, home to a Safeway, Walmart and library branch. Families are served by Rosscarrock Elementary and, for Catholic and French Immersion options, St. Michael School. Edworthy Park and its Douglas Fir Trail lie just to the north, and Shaganappi Golf Course borders the community as well.
