North Glenmore Park West Calgary MLS® Listings
Houses, Condos and Real Estate For Sale by Calgary REALTORS®.
North Glenmore Park is a southwest Calgary community that takes its name from the city park bordering its southern edge, along the north shore of the Glenmore Reservoir. The land was annexed to Calgary in 1956 and built out mainly through the 1950s and 1960s. Housing today is a mix of original mid-century bungalows, many since renovated or replaced with two-storey infills, alongside larger custom and luxury homes closer to the reservoir. The community is bounded by Crowchild Trail and Glenmore Trail, keeping downtown roughly 10 to 15 minutes away, and backs directly onto Glenmore Athletic Park and the pathway system around the reservoir, popular for canoeing, cross-country skiing and picnicking. Mount Royal University and the Weaselhead Flats natural area are both close by. The reservoir access and mature, treed streets set it apart from newer southwest subdivisions. The community and the park sharing its name are distinct, the park and reservoir are the amenity rather than part of the housing area itself.
